Last season we had experience using drones Agras MG-1P. Spraying was carried out on crops such as sunflower, corn, cabbage, wheat, soy. During our work, we used such plant protection products as herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, desiccants. Introduction of plant protection products using drones showed a good result., as well as many advantages over heavy equipment.
Low pollution from drone operations. Aerial work produces downward airflow, which helps increase the penetration of the mist stream after atomization to crops, sprays more water and fertilizers on the leaves, and less falls on the ground, reducing the remaining pesticides on the ground.
The seed distribution appeared to be good.
It is perfect droplet size, distribution and penetration to the fruit tree.
The field was too wet to be passable by ground rig as we had 2″ of rain two nights before the flight.
I am very surprised that the spraying measures out the liquid can be set up very precisely from remote.
The herbicide appears to be working very well. The crop appears to be uniformly dying with good penetration into the bottom. Looks good!
The down draft from the drone is quite impressive and undoubtedly negated any impact of the light breeze of 5 knots.
