DJI Agras Drone application on the hillside

    Ottawa Farm, Canada

The high-quality beef we usually eat comes from the good pastures of the cattle farm and the careful management from the young cattle period. Therefore, we can obtain high-quality meat, milk, and cheese products.

    Problem

We received a call. This is a farm on a bumpy hillside with very irregular terrain. It is not easy to reach the corner areas of normal operations, and they usually have to give up.

    Traditional operations

Growers usually use a ground sprayer to do where ever it can reach. There are also areas where the nozzles are turned off and the arms of the equipment are folded to achieve operation, but the slopes are very slippery and sometimes very dangerous.

Pests and diseases often spread from surrounding areas to farmland. The treatment of borders and corners is very important to protect crops and increase yields.

    Solution

DJI AGRAS T20 is equipped with omnidirectional radar plus the fixed-altitude radar (No one can catch up with this technology so far), which can protect the drone in a safe work environment while simulating ground flight according to the undulation of terrain and the height of crops.

We used DJI Agras T20, which is a two-in-one drone for autonomous spreading and broadcasting. First, we planned the plots to be worked on on the remote control, and then it started to work fully automatically and autonomously.

The small red dot on the yellow line is the running drone, and the green dot is the end of its work.

    No more pressure

Spreading/spraying operations or services are no longer under pressure. Drones can reach places that large equipment cannot reach, and are not restricted by terrain and soil moisture. If you already have large-scale equipment, drones can complement your equipment well and fully help you complete the work of the farm.

    Eysines Narrow space

T20 can set the spraying width from 4m to 7m, and will not overspread, leak spray or drip. There is no more pressure on uneven land, wetlands, high yields, some damage and soil compaction.
