Mark is an ordinary farmer from Quebec, growing 200 acres of corn and soybeans.

Behind him stands a classic Canadian farm family: a mother who understands him, a father who has always supported him, and a wife who stands by his side through everything. A Risk He Took for Others
When DJI first launched the T40 agricultural drone, we held a demo on Mark’s farm. One of his friends — hoping to start a custom spraying business — bought a drone.
Unfortunately, despite attending training, that friend never found the time to practice. The drone ended up sitting on a shelf. Mark felt bad — after all, he had been the one who recommended it.
But he didn’t want to risk learning on his friend’s expensive equipment. What if he crashed it?
So his family made a difficult decision: they spent their entire savings to buy one of their own.
“If I’m going to learn, I’ll take the risk myself. Once I’ve mastered it, I’ll teach him. That’s the only way I’ll feel at peace.”
From Struggle to Mastery
The journey wasn’t easy. Quebec fields are tough. Agricultural drones work long hours, and unexpected alerts were a constant headache.
But Mark never backed down. With a full round of theory and hands-on training, plus our 24/7 service support, he kept at it. No matter when he called, our team picked up, walking him through every step.
Little by little, he went from a nervous beginner to a skilled, confident pilot. Today he doesn’t just fly for himself — he helps neighbors get hands-on with the technology too.
And to this day, Mark has never had a single flight incident.
