The development of science and technology has been advancing, and the development and application of science and technology by brilliant R&D friends are gradually making our lives more convenient.
The development of agricultural science and technology is gradually moving towards intelligence, precision, and efficiency. Meanwhile, the modernization of agriculture has increased the income of farmers and promoted the continuous optimization of the agricultural economic structure; thereby improving and protecting the ecological environment and promoting the sustainable development of agriculture.
So, how can drones be a beneficial addition to agricultural tools
1- No Compaction
Some fields are relatively wet after rain/snowmelt. At the same time, there are often places, irregular fields, rolling fields that hard to deal with. The sprayer drone is a just-right tool to help with these concerns.
2- Easy to carry
DJI’s agricultural drones can be folded down to 70-80% in size. The sturdy frame construction makes it easy to load on a truck for transport.
3- Low volume and high deposition tech
The production, research, and development of agricultural drones in DJI have always been very rigorous. There are not only countless tests of every function in the laboratory, but also thousands of field tests to ensure that the products are qualified and safe when they are released to the market so that farmers can use the products with confidence.

DJI sprayer drone technology can help you save 30-50% chemicals, use only 10% around the mixture to achieve the same yield compared with a ground rig. This tech has been proved by so many countries and regions, including Bayer US. They tested corn and soybean field in the season of 2021, we can see in the chart below that DJI UAV was using only 10% around the mixture to achieve the same yield.

Few aspects of the DJI Agras Drones.
1- Uniformity and scientific wind field
DJI spraying drones either T20 or T30 are equipped with solenoid valves and flowmeter systems to ensure that the amount of liquid from each pipe and each nozzle is uniform.
At the same time, the wind field of DJI UAV is not simply a wind field with propeller pressure as we think. This is calculated through scientific calculations and tested thousands of times from wind field labs and farm fields. The designed downward pressure wind field makes the leaves of fruit trees evenly sprayed on the front and back(This solves the problem of bugs hiding behind the leaves.). You are welcome to check some fruit tree spraying articles that were shared in our Case Study.
2- Saving
Only use 10% of the mixture, use 30-50% of the medicament. Save 60-70% fuel. This is an amazing saving. You can calculate how much money you can save in a season. No doubt, these savings become your profit and keep you in a leading position in the fierce market competition.
3- Spraying width
The T20 can be set to 4M-7M on the remote control, T30 is from 4M-9M, you will not miss any corners. Traditional equipment needs to turn off some nozzles, but turning in corners is sometimes a headache. The drone can directly adjust the width of the spray, thus avoiding repeated spraying or some places being missed. If the corners are not sprayed, that is where the pests and diseases started, and the diseases spread from the edges to the inside of the farmland.
4- RTK positioning
The spraying route accuracy can reach 2.47 cm.
This error size of less than one inch ensures that the drone sprays strictly according to the route you require, and when you spray, it minimizes the impact on neighbours’ farmland.
5- Hillsides and wetlands
It is not restricted by terrain and land moisture. In many areas, DJI’s Agras drones are used for rice sowing, spraying, and fish feed sowing, so it is not an exaggeration to say that it is an aerial robot above the water.
6- Tall crops
With fixed-height radar, it is not restricted by the height of crops, thus well protecting the crops. The drone’s fixed altitude radar can accurately calculate the distance from the bottom of the drone to the tip of the crop by itself, to imitate ground flight.
7- Personnel safety
The operator always uses the remote control to operate, thus avoiding being in a spray environment for a long time.
8- Calibration
Each nozzle of T20 or T30 does not require manual exhaust calibration, which can be completed in a few seconds by a one-key operation of the remote control. This greatly saves the operator’s time and energy.
9- Signals
All the DJI Agras drones are equipped with an RTK2 mobile station that works independently to receive satellite signals. It ensures that your spray/seed drone equipment works smoothly, so your operation will not be affected by your cell network.
10- Application range
Its application range can not only spray farmland but also spray fruit trees. You no longer need to replace equipment for spraying in orchards. In particular, T30’s unique branch orientation targeting technology is the world’s leading cutting-edge technology.
11- Protect the soil
Obviously, it protects the soil from compaction. Moreover, the sprayed droplet size strictly meets the best standards of our Canadian pesticide management regulations. Water droplets will not fall into the soil from leaves, thus protecting the soil.
12- Spreader Drone
It can also spread, but sowing is not the main function. But for plots with fewer lbs seeds requirements, it is completely capable. 1 unit of T30 can do 1 ton of urea fertilizer in one hour.
If your driveway or farm walk is long, you can also use DJI’s RTK Agras drone to spread ice salt. It can be used above minus 10 degrees.
The map can be saved to your remote, you can pull it out to use at any time you need.
